I am enjoying the podcast. One of my favorite books about food is The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister. It focuses on characters that attend a cooking class and the author’s detailed descriptions of the food and aromas in the kitchen are lyrical! I love this book! Very reminiscent of Chocolat. I also enjoy the Hannah Swensen series by Joanne Fluke. They are short easy read mysteries. Each title includes the name of a sweet treat. Hannah is a baker and an amateur detective and each book contains a recipe. Diane Mott Davidson also has a similar mystery series with a caterer named Goldy as the main sleuth.

We will have to pick up Bauermeister, it sounds very interesting. Plus, I will be adding Hannah Swensen series to my TBR list. Thank you for the great suggestions Gay.
