Oh, the book “The Notebook” by Nicolas Sparks! made me cry the whole book through! His books are sooo sad….
“None of my characters are rich or famous, and the situations they find themselves in could happen to anyone.” ~Nicholas Sparks
As a huge dog lover, “The Art of Racing in the Rain” was a big tear jerker for me. It’s A heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hop. I was balling during the scene when Denny’s wife, Eve passed away losing her life to a brain tumor. It was beautifully crafted and gave captivating look at the absurdities of human life…as only a dog could tell it. Sad to say the book was better than the movie.
“Sad to say the book was better than the movie.” This is usually the case with most books that are made into movies.
